  • How Long Are The Playing Seasons

    The Waco Storm plays multiple seasons per year and there are teams from 8U – 18U. 

    8U – 14U – The Spring Season starts the Tuesday after Valentines Day and will run generally until mid June.

    8U – 14U – The Fall Season runs from Sept through October and occasionally will bleed into the first week of November.

    15U – 18U – The Summer Season starts roughly the 3rd week of May and will run through July.

    15U – 18U – The Fall Season 

  • What are the dues for the storm

    Dues vary from season to season and depending on the team’s level of play. In the Spring Season players have the option to support the Storm Foundation Dinner by selling tickets to the Storm Foundation Dinner which can offset some or all of the players seasonal dues. 

  • What Sanctions Does the Storm Play In

    The Waco Storm will play in 

    • Perfect Game
    • USSSA
    • NCS
    • Texas Premier
    • VTool
    • Small Town Select

  • How far does the storm travel to play

    The travel for the Storm varies based on the level of the teams.

    AA Teams will stay as local as possible for about 60% of the tournaments in Spring and will generally not go past Dallas or Austin. AA Storm teams will generally stay within 150 miles from Waco.

    AAA Teams will stay local for about 40% of the tournaments in Spring and may travel as far as Houston, Central Oklahoma or Louisiana.

    Majors (State/National) Teams will play as little as 10% of the tournaments locally in Spring and will travel as far as needed to find the best events to build a National Rank.

  • How Many tournamants do storm teams play each season

    Spring

    AA Teams – Between 8 and 10 tournaments depending on weather

    AAA Teams – Depending on the level of tournaments a AAA Team will play 8 tournaments minimum and may play up to 10.

    AAA/Majors (State/National) – Will play 8 high quality tournaments.

    Fall

    All Teams will play 4 tournaments
